Ever wondered what dreams may come? Or what exactly you dreamt about last night?
I usually do not remember the details of the dream that I had b, but I do remember the essence of it. Scientifically speaking, we do not have any control over it. It is the work of the subconscious mind, trying to cope. Trying to resolve some underlying issues that the waking brain is not able to comprehend or resolve. Well, all this is known to most of us.
There is another part of this, the kind of augmented reality, many writers believe it to be a parallel universe, I believe that this augmented reality is a distortion of things that are in the wakefulness present. It is a way of being either extra, super creative (Excuse the double adjective!) or to say – Shut the Fuck up! You are too damn tired, go and take rest.
Nevertheless, these augmented realities are a great part of my sleep. I get to do things that I could never imagine to even come true. People who even in a far-fetched dream could ever be true. I sometimes enjoy these larger-than-life dreams, as if they have been written by a sci-fi thriller writer. And when I wake up, all I can wonder is- What the heck did I dream about?
To be honest it has got nothing to do with any celebrity, aliens or a farm land, it is about the regular people who may or may not even be a part of my life. It is more of a distorted reality and definitely disconnected. Sometimes I do wonder, if I am better off staying in that bubble of a dream?
But no, as R.E.M says- it was all just a dream, Just a dream!
