I love the sweet sound of her bangles and her danglers and the charms in her anklet and more. Who knew these little sounds were so much more than an expression of womanhood!
Jewelry has always been a way for a woman to express her joy, passion, and confidence. These little trinkets can elevate one’s looks, but did you know they have more to offer?
Our ancestors were quite intelligent; they knew that when they disguise logic behind a regular practice in a culture, a lot of people will not question it! Today, a lot of jewelry items are worn by married women as a symbol of prosperity and marriage, but their reason goes much deeper.
Let’s explore some of these.
1. Nose rings
A nose ring or a nose pin looks amazing for women with a slender nose and just adds a bit of sparkle to their face. But did you know that a nose pin is usually a piercing on the left nostril, which is linked with reproductive organs. A nose ring/pin eases menstrual pain and aids childbirth. In some ways, it is also a point of acupressure for emotional balance.
2. Earrings
Be it the pretty danglers, hoops, or the studs, there is so much variety in what a woman and even a man can wear on their earlobes. But an ear lobe is connected to the eyes, brain and reproductive system. Regular stimulation improves eyesight and memory. Pressing the earlobe can also alleviate stress and elevate mood.
3. Necklace
With so many lengths and styles of necklaces, different lengths helped activate the heart and throat chakras. The necklace also regulates heartbeat, calms the wearer‘s emotions, and improves communication.
Wearing gold improves the blood circulation and, in some cases, provides anti-inflammatory effects. Who all remembers wearing a gold chain when I had chickenpox (a long time ago- before the vaccination).
4. Waistbelt
The waist belt not only draws a man’s attention to the slender waist and the full hips, but it also supports the spine and abdominal muscles. A waist belt improves digestion and metabolism while protecting the womb and kidney functions.
5. Rings
I love wearing only 1 ring on my ring finger, but I wear it in both hands! Irrespective of the size, I never liked wearing multiple ones. But some men and women love wearing multiple rings. They stack them up or go gala! But wearing a ring on different fingers has a different significance, as each finger has a different nerve that gets the right kind of pressure from these rings. While wearing a ring on the thumb improves willpower and brain functioning, wearing one on the index finger depicts leadership and releases toxins from the liver. The middle finger ring balances the Saturn, and the ring on the little finger improves communication.
We all know what the significance of the ring finger is – the nerves lead directly to the heart, thus it balances emotions and helps with heart health.
6. Bangles
The clinks of the bangles or the charms on the bracelets keep the wrist strong and improve blood circulation. The sound itself provides microvibration that brings positivity!
There are other small trinkets like armlets, the tikka, and the belly button that improve the female form! How many of these do you wear and enjoy? Let me know!
