When the show began, I thought this would be fun, but boy I was wrong. With every episode, I was sucked deeper, emotionally invested. At the end of season three I had so many questions, but most importantly – Why do men love Georgia after knowing about her shady past and some bad (OMG) acts?
It is common knowledge that bad is always attractive, and Georgia is wicked! Her beauty was not the only thing that was right for her, it was these-
1. She is observant
Her observation skills are amazing! She can very easily find out who can be trusted and who cannot be. Who is taking advantage of her and who can be an ally? Her power of deduction got her out of many tricky situations; so much so that she selected her jury just by talking to some people in her town.
2. She is confident
Georgia’s confidence gets her through some tough times and situations. She can lie through her teeth and make it appear as if it is all ok! She knows what she wants or who she wants and is not afraid to go to any lengths to attain it. If she needed a new bag, she got it even without money. Throughout her trial, she convinced herself and everyone else that she was not the killer and she got away with it (well, almost)!
3. She is fiercely loyal
Her royalty got her in and out of a lot of trouble! She got involved with a gang who taught her how to be strong on the streets and she never betrayed them, when the time came, they were there for her. When she wanted Paul to be the mayor, she gave in everything, all her tricks to support him to win! She has been supportive of every man she has been with (apart from Gil)! She knew she could grow when her man climbed the ladder of success.
4. She is a hustler
Georgia knows when to hustle! Her kids know it, even Paul knew it! They looked up to her because of how she managed to get everything she ever wanted! She wanted a beautiful house and a suburban life, and she got it! She needed funds, she moved money from her workplace and then returned it! She knows her innocent face and good looks can get her things; she uses them to her advantage! Even her lawyer saw that and used it to her advantage!
5. She was never involved in self-pity
The most important point! She had been through some tough times. Her father was in jail, and her stepfather was trying to be abusive and getting pregnant at a younger age with basic education and practically no money, she never cried over it! She even taught her kids that- to rise above! What has happened is already done, no need to cry over it! That is her strength!
No doubt Georgia’s character is sexy, beautiful and gorgeous! But what makes men fall on their knees and say- “I don’t care about your past” is something admirable about Georgia! Her sexiness comes from her attributes, her confidence and that she never cried over her past, but rather owned it!
